Are you happy with your life? Are you searching for purpose or meaning in life? Are you looking for answers? Is your soul telling you; you are not making the right choices? Do you want to change how you make personal decisions? Would you like positive actions to live by and gain the ability to overcome difficulties in your life? Do you long for a deeper walk with Jesus? Then this Workshop is for you.

When we align our governing values with the values God desires of us, we will enjoy a deeper, more fruitful relationship with Jesus. By living a life in tune with the Holy Spirit (I call this being in the Zone), we ultimately accomplish the plans God has for us (Jer. 29:11). It’s good to keep in mind that goals when written down are plans to achieve your dreams and ultimately achieve the plans God has for you. The Four Commands of Christ and the Spiritual Disciplines will get you there.

What are the four commands of Christ?

The Four Commands of Christ is Jesus’s summation of the 10 Commandments, the Mosaic Law and the Prophets.

First Command: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” (Matthew 22:37-38) A person asked me, “What does this look like? I don’t know how to do this.” I asked Jesus for help and He revealed this to me

“Humble Yourself and Submit”

Second Command: “And the second is like it: ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:39-40) and this one is to give your neighbor

“Grace and Mercy”

Third Command: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35) This command is for all churches to practice within their walls

“Forgiveness”

Fourth Command: “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20) This is

Examine Yourself

Socrates wrote: “An unexamined life is not worth living.”

2 Corinthians 13: 5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you-unless, of course, you fail the test”?

Are we going to heaven or are we going to hell? There are many people who can't answer this question with certainty. In fact, some confuse living a good life and being kind to others as being a Christian. However, Jesus calls His disciples to something even more. Taking the Examine Yourself assessment below allows you to be honest with yourself as to where you're at in your faith journey. It's completely confidential, and we encourage everyone to assess where they're at in their walk with Jesus.
